Whether incomplete partnership records can be organized into an education-specific evidence model while keeping missing information and confidence visible.
ImpactIQ AI · Research & Innovation
ImpactIQ AI is a proposed AI partnership intelligence and governance platform for K–12 leaders. The research asks whether fragmented, approved partnership records can be transformed into traceable, decision-ready evidence without overstating impact.
Current status: A Phase IA proposal was submitted for 2026 ED/IES SBIR consideration and is under review. No award has been announced. ImpactIQ AI remains an R&D-stage initiative, not a validated product.
District partnership information often lives across spreadsheets, reports, agreements, shared drives and staff knowledge. Activity counts can be useful, but they do not reliably distinguish services delivered, outcomes, assumptions, evidence quality and unsupported claims. That makes reporting, governance and resource-allocation decisions harder.
Whether incomplete partnership records can be organized into an education-specific evidence model while keeping missing information and confidence visible.
Whether AI can draft useful impact reports with claims traceable to approved source fields, user-entered assumptions or clearly labeled inferences.
Whether transparent prompts can surface missing goals, evidence gaps and accountability risks without replacing human judgment.
Proposed formative testing will examine record classification, task completion, report quality, usefulness, trust and reporting time with representative education and partnership stakeholders. Quantitative results will be summarized descriptively, and qualitative feedback will be analyzed for barriers, trust concerns and workflow improvements.
The longer-term vision is a secure platform that helps districts, education foundations, nonprofits and cross-sector networks make partnership decisions with stronger evidence and clearer governance.
